Some time ago, I used to put David Cook's songs from his 2008 self-titled album on repeat mode on my Winamp playlist. I curbed my David Cook craze for a while and tuned back into the usual kpop stuffs. But tonight I actually felt like going into that crazy mood again. I love all the songs, really, but here I'm sharing my Top 3. 1. Permanent He has great vocals and when a singer with vocals like his sings a rock ballad, it's just awesome. And I read somewhere that this song was actually dedicated to his brother who was dying of cancer (the brother has passed away). I was going through Lee Min Jung ( Boys Over Flowers ) thread at Soompi when I stumbled upon a Youtube video. It features Lee Min Jung with her co-star Jung Kyung Ho ( A Time of Dog and Wolf ) from the series Smile, You singing " Way Back Into Love " in a program called Chocolate. I thought the song sounds very familiar than recalled that it was the theme song for the 2007 movie " Music and Lyrics " starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. It was one of my favorite romantic comedies that year, with witty dialogues and funny music videos from the 80's. And who doesn't love Hugh Grant? ^_^  ---(more about this movie  here  . The story is nothing remarkably original (I know it's a remake, but still...), a plot you've seen in many other romantic films. Could have been better. Zhu (Choi) was a girl cross-dressing as a boy to enroll in an all-male Soul Ease Clan, supposedly to learn martial arts. Naively thinking that her parents had finally allowed her to see the world, she embarked on the journey to the school. What she didn't know was that it was part of her parents' plan to save her from a tragedy that's about to befall their family. On her way to Soul Ease Clan, due to an unfortunate circumstance, she met Liang who was her savior, but misunderstanding caused her to have a bad impr...
