The movie follows Roy Miller (Cruise) as a crazy, delusional, schizophrenic, wanted man that turns out to be a misunderstood secret agent on the run after being accused of stealing a newly invented perpetual energy battery called the Zephyr to sell it to the enemy. June Havens (Diaz) gets caught in the whirlwind after bumping into him (literally) twice at the airport and so the two begins their little adventure to escape from other secret agents which consists of "incredible" journeys that we viewers don't know much about because these two love drugging each other and when one passes out, we also don't know what's going on because the story is told in his/her POV (point-of-view). Amidst running away, they have to track down a nerd teenager named Simon, the energy inventor who has run out of his hiding place to have HIS own adventure.
To be frank, I wasn't impressed by the movie. In fact, I thought it was a waste of my money. The actions and stunts were a little far-fetched and messy in a bad way, the romance lame and cheesy and almost embarrassing to watch. In any case, it was a let down. Of course, this is very subjective. No offense!
