That Woman by Baek Ji Young (Secret Garden OST)

I'm currently watching Secret Garden starring Hyun Bin (My Name is Kim Samsoon) and Ha Ji Won (Memories of Bali). Aired only up to episode 6 for now, but looks like it's going to be an awesome drama series to cap the year 2010. And along with it comes this beautiful and heartfelt song, 'That Woman' by Baek Ji Young. This song in the background while watching this drama just adds that little bit more meaning to the scenes, methinks. I've always felt that the right music/song can really help convey the intended messages to audience. Enjoy the song (lyrics can be found below - sorry if there's any inaccuracies!)

That Woman - lyrics translations with help from clairrpark@youtube

One woman loves you
That woman loves you wholeheartedly
She follows you around like a shadow everyday
That woman is laughing and crying
Just how much…how much more do I have to gaze at you alone
This love that came like the wind
This beggar-like love
If I continue this way, will you love me?
Just come a little nearer…a little more
If I take one step closer to you, then you take two steps back
I who love you am next to you now
That woman is crying.

That woman is timid
So she learned how to laugh
That woman has many stories that she can't even tell her best friend
So her heart is full of tears
That's why, That woman
You, she loved you
Because you are just same as her
Yet another fool, yet another fool
Can't you hug me before you go?
I want to receive love, baby
Everyday in my heart,
Just in my heart,
I shout and
That woman is next to him even today.

Do you know That woman is me?
You're not pretending that you don't know, right?
You really don't know cause you're a fool.

Just how much... how much more do I have to gaze at you alone
This love that’s like a fool
This beggar-like love
If I continue this way, will you love me?
Just come a little nearer...a little more...
If I take one step closer to you, then you take two steps back
I who love you is next to you now
That woman is crying.

Queen Seon Deok - The Characters

Queen Seon Deok is a series that focuses on the 'villains' as much as it focuses on its 'heroes', because a strong and remarkable hero is called such because he/she faced an equally strong and remarkable nemesis. Because there is a strong opponent like Mishil, that Deokman was able to gain experience and wisdom. There are also other characters that play significant roles to both Deokman and Mishil in their quest to gain the throne. For this post, I list some of the main characters and their brief descriptions. Please note that my descriptions of the characters are merely based on the TV series, and not based on actual historical data. Warning: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS.

Princess Deokman (Queen Seon Deok, posthumous) was played beautifully by Lee Yo Won (Fashion 70's). Her younger version was played with great vigor by Nam Ji Hyun (East of Eden, Will It Snow for Christmas?). She was born a twin, which according to a prophecy will mark the end of the sa…

Fun Fueng (Daydream)

The story begins with Athit, a driver, pretending to be his boss, Ratrawee. And Wilailuck, a servant, pretending to be a high-class woman by stealing her mistress, Montira's, dresses. They both go on a date and fall in love at first sight not knowing that the other one is lying. When the two bosses know about this, they demand for both of the servants to tell the other the truth, but they continue to lie. When Ratrawee first encounters Montira, he immediately falls for her and tells Athit to continue lying. Ratrawee and Montira got to spend times together and started to fall in love, too. Will both couples be able to accept each others' true identities at the end? - viki Unless I read some great reviews, my go-to lakorns normally are the ones with either Anne Thongprasom or Ken Theradeth. If they both are in it, even better. But those two are quite a veteran in the industry already and new generation is booming so might as well I find a new anchor, like finding a new actor/act…
