Knight and Day (2010)

The movie follows Roy Miller (Cruise) as a crazy, delusional, schizophrenic, wanted man that turns out to be a misunderstood secret agent on the run after being accused of stealing a newly invented perpetual energy battery called the Zephyr to sell it to the enemy. June Havens (Diaz) gets caught in the whirlwind after bumping into him (literally) twice at the airport and so the two begins their little adventure to escape from other secret agents which consists of "incredible" journeys that we viewers don't know much about because these two love drugging each other and when one passes out, we also don't know what's going on because the story is told in his/her POV (point-of-view). Amidst running away, they have to track down a nerd teenager named Simon, the energy inventor who has run out of his hiding place to have HIS own adventure. To be frank, I wasn't impressed by the movie. In fact, I thought it was a waste of my money. The actions and stunts ...

Prosecutor Princess (2010)

[Ma Hye Ri is a woman with an excellent memory and ability to focus, which allowed her to pass the bar exam with ease. Despite her talents, she is more interested in being fashionable and dislikes hard work so she is far from being an ideal prosecutor and has doubts about her suitability for her job. Through her conflicts with senior colleages and struggles with difficult cases, however, Hye Ri gradually matures into a brilliant prosecutor with a sense of duty and justice.] - Dramawiki  This drama starred  Kim So Yeon, fresh from her action drama IRIS . But in Prosecutor Princess , she comes off as a bimbo at first glance, but the actress manage to make her character (that can easily become annoying and off-putting) into an endearing and cute prosecutor princess. Kim So Yeon herself is so pretty...

The Karate Kid (2010)

You've got to check this out! Though, I wouldn't recommend it to little kids, especially those who are yet able to differentiate good from bad coz I don't think they can appreciate all the lessons learnt amidst all those awesome karate or kung fu moves or whatever you call it. Don't want them to get out of the movie theater and take away only the violent parts. Oh, yes, they do get pretty violent to me. To give you some idea (in case you haven't figured it out yet), the movie is about a kid named Dre Parker who moves to Beijing when her mother gets transferred there and is caught in trouble with a school bully when he befriends a local girl. It leads him to learn martial arts from the maintenance man (Jackie Chan) in order to survive.  It could have been a very typical story, but the movie was just too funny and witty to simply fall under that category. It was very entertaining and it's okay to laugh out loud in the movie theater because everybody els...
